10 years of Berber Leather

10 years of Berber Leather

This summer, Berber Leather turned 10, and what a journey it’s been! From our humble
beginnings with just 16 handcrafted pieces, we’ve grown into a brand with a collection of over 90 timeless products. Our range keeps evolving with fresh hew designs, but we’re proud to say our beloved classics remain as popular as ever.

In our early days, you’d have found us at local shows and markets, chatting face-to-face with customers and setting up shop in muddy fields. Fast forward ten years, and the majority of our sales are now online! We’re thrilled to have our bags featured on incredible platforms like Freemans, Debenhams, and Wolf & Badger, alongside our own online store.
One of our proudest milestones? Over 250 stockists worldwide have carried Berber Leather bags. What started as a few wholesale orders has grown into a thriving global presence, with our products stocked in shops across the UK, Europe, and the USA.

Our journey has also seen a fair few address changes. From packing orders in Paul’s garage to sharing space on a local trading estate, then opening our shop in 2020. And now? We’re settled into our very own dedicated warehouse and unit, giving us the space to continue growing while keeping everything running smoothly.

Of course, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. Like many small businesses, we’ve weathered our share of storms, including a global pandemic, a cost of living crisis, and even Beki having a baby! But thanks to the incredible support of our customers, partners, and community, we’re still here, and stronger than ever!

Thank you for being part of the Berber Leather story so far. Whether you’ve been with us since day one or just discovered us this year, we’re so grateful for your support. None of this could have been accomplished without all of you!

Here’s to the next 10 years of craftsmanship, creativity, and classic style.
